A book authored by Dr. Bindu Joseph, Professor at St. Joseph College of Teacher Education for Women, Ernakulam, was officially released at a special academic programme held in the college auditorium on 25 February 2026 at 2:30 PM. The event was organized in collaboration with the Kerala Bhasha Institute, Ernakulam.

The programme began with a welcome address by Prof. Dr. Betty P. J., Principal of the college, and was presided over by C. Dr. Vimal Jose, Manager of St. Joseph College of Teacher Education for Women.

The book was formally released by Rev. Fr. Bony Jose Kattikad, marking the highlight of the event, and the first copy was received by T. P. Antony, former Principal of Avila College of Education, Edacochin.

An introductory address was delivered by N. Jayakrishnan, Assistant Director of Kerala Bhasha Institute, while M. P. Beena, Editor at Kerala Bhasha Institute, presented a detailed introduction to the book.

The keynote address was delivered by Rev. Fr. Benny Nalkara CMI, Provincial Superior of St. Joseph Province, Kalamassery. Felicitations were offered by Dr. Suja T. V., Syndicate Member of MG University, and Dr. K. S. Krishnakumar, Professor at SNM Training College, Moothakunnam.

During the programme, Sagara S., teacher at St. Joseph’s UP School, Neeloor, shared reflections on the book, followed by the author’s response by Dr. Bindu Joseph.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sisily A. A., Assistant Professor of the college. The event witnessed the participation of academicians, teachers, and students, making it a meaningful academic gathering celebrating the scholarly contribution of Dr. Bindu Joseph and St. Joseph College of Teacher Education for Women, Ernakulam.
