The Induction Programme for the First Year B.Ed. students

The Induction Programme for the First Year B.Ed. students of St. Joseph College of Teacher Education for Women, Ernakulam (Research Centre in Education) commenced on July 8, 2025 with a series of vibrant and welcoming sessions aimed at orienting the new batch into the academic, spiritual, and institutional culture of the college.

The programme began at 10:00 AM in the Multi-Purpose Hall, with an invocation of God’s blessings led by Dr. Soya Mathew and Dr. Dinimol Jacob, setting a reflective and spiritually uplifting tone for the day.

At 10:30 AM, Prof. (Dr.) Betty P.J., Principal of the college, formally welcomed the new students and delivered the Introductory Address, highlighting the college’s vision, values, and commitment to excellence in teacher education.

Following this, at 10:45 AM, the faculty members introduced themselves, fostering a sense of familiarity and belonging among the students.

After a short break at 11:00 AM, the programme resumed at 11:20 AM with an interactive session between the students and their respective class teachers, encouraging open communication and relationship-building from the very beginning.

The first day of the induction programme was marked by warmth, clarity, and inspiration—successfully setting the foundation for the academic journey ahead.
