The BEd programme refers to the Bachelor of Education degree. It is an undergraduate academic degree that focuses on preparing students to become educators and teachers. The primary objective of the BEd programme is to equip aspiring teachers with the necessary knowledge, skills, and understanding of teaching methodologies, educational psychology, curriculum development, classroom management, and other relevant subjects.

The programme duration is two years and includes a mix of theoretical coursework, practical teaching experience, and sometimes, research projects or internships in educational settings.

During the BEd programme, students may have the opportunity to specialize in specific subjects or age groups, such as elementary education, special education, early childhood education, or subject-specific teaching like math or science education.
