Research Center

It was a long cherished dream to have the college raised as a research center and efforts to this end had begun right from when the college turned 50 in 2007 with a research block being established in the campus. In 2015 this attempt to be recognized as a research center gained momentum and application and reminders for the same was made to the University. The tireless effort of the Research committee headed by the Principal of the college helped in materializing this dream with the approval of the  Mahatma Gandhi University in 14^th  July 2022 and with a Center Name 1098-St Joseph College of Teacher Education for Women . One of our faculty Dr Betty P J, Associate Professor in Mathematics Education  got approval for research guideship  by Mahatma Gandhi university in May 2020  with the research center as School of Pedagogical Sciences. Two more Faculty, Dr Josephine Joseph, Assistant Professor in Physical Science Education  and Dr Bindu Joseph , Associate professor in Malayalam Education  got approval for  research guideship  in the Research Center of our institution in July 2022.
