Admission Procedure For M.Ed Programme

Adhering to the rules and regulations of the regulatory bodies namely NCTE, Mahatma Gandhi University and the State Government, the College adopts the admission procedure for the, M.Ed Programme.

The college offers two years (4 Semester) M. Ed programme in the self financing scheme

• From 2015 onwards the students to the M. Ed programme are admitted by the college directly as per the prospectus issued by the University for each academic year following Government Reservation policy.
• Candidates seeking admission to the M.Ed programme should have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the following programmes-
  (i) B.Ed
  (ii) B.A.B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed
  (iii) B.El.Ed
  (iv) D.El.Ed with an under graduate degree( with 50% marks in each).

Institution offers the following optional subjects in M.Ed Programme – English Education, Malayalam Education, Mathematics Education, Science Education, and Social Science Education.

Intake Of Seats :

The college has an intake of 1 Unit (50 seats) . 50% of the seats are earmarked as Management Quota seats and these seats shall be filled by the educational agency. The applicants in this category shall submit their application to the college authorities where the candidate seeks management quota admission The remaining 50% seats are merit seats. The merit seats include the reservation seats for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/Sports/Teacher Quota and PD Quota. The application for merit seats also have to be submitted at the college concerned.

Age Limit: There is no age limit for applying M. Ed programme.
